Project Superintendent
You'll work in a culture where precision and accountability are the currency--no theater, no politics, no "we'll figure it out later." You show up, execute deliverables, and your integrity gets noticed. Compensation is market-competitive (Junior: $95K-$120K | Standard: $130K-$160K | Senior: $160K-$190K), with real performance bonuses tied to schedule, quality, and profitability--not participation trophies. Career path is direct: excel as a superintendent and you earn mentor status, run multiple $5M-$15M+ projects concurrently, and build equity in CRC's reputation in one of California's most demanding luxury markets. This isn't a stepping-stone job; it's a legacy play.
You're on jobsite by 5:45 AM for crew arrival at 6:00 AM; first 15 minutes: hazard walk-through, safety huddle (logged in Procore), crew assignments locked. Then you're executing: inspecting completed work (QA checklist), tracking labor against budget, coordinating subcontractor starts/stops, and flagging schedule risks. Mid-day: Procore entries (daily logs, change events, RFIs, site photos), calls with PM on scope/budget, client walkthrough if scheduled. End of day: tool/trailer accountability check, equipment repair logs, next-day prep (materials on-site, crew staging). By 4:00 PM you're done--but Procore stays current; any same-day escalation (injury, liability, budget overrun, client issue) goes to PM immediately, no delay.
Your daily execution--hazard walks, labor tracking, Procore logging, quality inspections, client engagement--directly drives CRC's three core KPIs: project profitability (labor productivity vs. budget, zero scope creep), client retention (on-time delivery, zero surprises, professional demeanor), and operational excellence (Procore audit-ready, zero documentation gaps). Zero jobsite incidents + 9.0/10 quality scores + schedule adherence = the reputation and margin discipline that keeps CRC competitive in the luxury market and protects profitability.
CRC Builders, Inc. (CSLB #998730) is a California luxury general contractor specializing in custom estates, wineries, and tasting rooms--we operate at the premium end of the market where clients demand execution, not excuses, and where precision is non-negotiable. We help our clients realize multi-million-dollar vision projects on time, on budget, and with zero compromises on quality or craftsmanship; our competitive advantage is ruthless accountability, system-driven operations (Procore mastery, real-time documentation, daily risk mitigation), and a team that moves fast and communicates directly. Our core values are clarity (no vague agreements), accountability (one owner per process, no ambiguity), and enforceability (every commitment is measurable, auditable, deliverable). In 30 years, we've built a reputation for doing what we say we'll do--and for protecting our clients' investment and timeline while building their legacy.
1. Schedule Adherence (5 calendar days over critical path)
On-time delivery builds client trust and protects CRC's luxury market reputation. You own zero slippage; late projects erode margin and signal execution failure.
2. Quality Score (9.0/10 minimum; zero failed inspections)
Premium deliverables protect client satisfaction and eliminate warranty claims post-handoff. A single failed inspection signals sloppy execution--incompatible with CRC's mission in the luxury estate market.
3. Labor Productivity (budgeted vs. actual hours reconciled weekly; zero unexplained overruns)
Labor overruns kill project margin and make future bids unrealistic. You own daily labor accountability and flag variances to PM weekly--this is how CRC stays profitable.
4. Safety Record (zero jobsite incidents; daily hazard assessment logged)
Protects people first, eliminates legal exposure, and preserves operational continuity. One incident stops projects and damages reputation; zero incidents is non-negotiable.
5. Procore Mastery (zero missing documentation; audit-ready daily logs, RFIs, change events, lien releases)
Base Salary: $95K-$120K (Junior) | $130K-$160K (Superintendent) | $160K-$190K (Senior Superintendent)--market-adjusted for Napa luxury residential. Performance Bonuses: Schedule compression, quality score, material waste reduction. PTO: 120 hours annually by tier (3-6 weeks), plus 6 paid holidays. Sick Time: 1 hour per 30 hours worked from day one; no probation wait; usable immediately for diagnosis, care, or family needs. Allowances: Mileage reimbursement, cell phone stipend, vehicle allowance, medical insurance contribution, steel-toe boots purchased or reimbursed. Equipment: Company iPad for Procore, CRC uniform issued, daily tool accountability system (you own your tools; we own the trailer). Career Path: Proven execution earns mentor role, multiple-project authority, and succession consideration
Humble Badass. You're confident in your execution and brutally honest about what you can deliver. When you commit to a schedule or quality standard, you back it with certainty--not bluster. When you miss, you own it without deflecting. No excuses, no politics, just results. accountability builds your reputation.
Ascendant. You're not doing the same job the same way you did it last year. You master Procore, learn from every Monday Morning Quarterback, adopt better processes, and push your team to higher standards. Complacency is death; evolution is survival. You lift everyone around you because rising together is how we stay competitive.
Relentless Tenacity. Giving up isn't in your vocabulary. Schedule risk? Escalate early to PM and solve it. Quality gap? Fix it before inspection, not after. Subcontractor failure? You find a way or make one. You don't wait for permission--you advocate for your clients and crew by attacking problems daily, not quarterly.
Passion to Deliver. You care deeply about the outcome. Nine-point-zero quality isn't a nice-to-have--it's your standard. Zero failed inspections. Punch list perfection. Client walkthrough shows pride in what you built. That's the real measure of CRC: did we deliver excellence, or did we deliver excuses?
